Thailand’s rebates average 15% to 20%, with an additional 3% bonus for hiring Thai key positions. There is an added 2% bonus if the film, television and other screen production promotes Thai tourism.
To qualify, you will need to spend an equivalent of THB50 million (US$1.5 million) locally and is capped at THB75 million (US$2.25 million). Pop Films will liaise with Thai government offices before, during, and after the production. Process will require pre approval and returns on average takes 6-12 months.
